Education
Laramie County School District #1 serves 13,344 students in 32 schools throughout Cheyenne. There are 24 elementary, 6 middle, and 4 high schools in the district. There are also three Christian Academies, two Lutheran private schools, one Catholic school and a Montessori School in Cheyenne. Central High School has the 2003 Pro-Start National Champion Culinary Arts Team and students can dual enroll with local community colleges. East High has an International Baccalaureate program.
Colleges and Universities in the Cheyenne area include; Kennedy Western University, American City University, Cheeks International Academy, Preston University, University of Wyoming, University of Phoenix-Cheyenne, Regis University, Laramie County Community College, Park University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at Warren, and American Global University.
